My little bro needs some recognition too. A big "awwww" to say I'm proud of him and excited to watch his life unfold as he experiences China. We had such a nice time in Shenyang- seeing Dave and Lauren and being "hosted" by our own family in China! Now that's a switch! Though out time with them was short, we certainly enjoyed it--
having an uncle and aunt to love on our kids-- delicious Chinese food,
90 minute massages and the ability to switch off child-care to do so. It was fun to experience China through my brother's eyes as he has done so though mine in the past.
Fun to see them both doing so well as teachers and as a part of their team. And we even made it though 2 long train rides to do so. That too... a very good thing! Speaking of the train ride-- we were the 3rd set of 2-child families in our car-- in a row!! The 2 rows ahead of us both contained sets of twins, totally unrelated and going to different places on the same train!
Now that was something in China!
