There's always a day to celebrate around here. Birthdays, anniversary's, holidays, nights of sleep (well, not too often), cuteness... whatever. And we seem to be given some kind of gift to make the occasion memorable. The thing it's taken some time getting used to in North America is the full gear that comes with childrearing. We've been getting packages in the mail from the Grands since before Christmas. I know now that when the Canada post van pulls in, there's bound to be something in it for the Coons unit, and probably not any of the other 18 units outside. We got one of those packages this morning, Thanks Nai Nai. And another delivery this week from Grandpa Coons, though not from Canada post. Our friends brought this beauty from WA for us!
I now have an art center, a plastic water table, a 3 piece plastic kitchen set, a large plastic cashier machine, a swing, a baby jumper, an exersaucer, 2 playgyms and an elmo seat with wheels. Am I missing anything? Oh yeah, 2 pack n' plays and a bassinet. And the 2 car seats, 3 strollers and a bike trailer. I think we're set for some time!!! I think we're doing pretty good for starting out with nothing a year ago! Thanks to all our friends clearing out their living rooms and storage. I think we'll have to do the same soon!
So happy 3 months Asher! I know that don't lack for anything! We love you!
