At least, I think she can. Josie has been working on her "crawl" for some time now. She's got the strength and the basic position. She can stay on all fours just fine. It's the one knee in front of the other that stops her up. She'd rather scooch backward or do and "sit and reach" on her tummy and somehow "reach" her way across the room. I took these pictures in the kitchen last week. I thought it was so funny-- here I was on all fours with Josie cheering her on when....

Well, at least Toby can make it on command. Now she just has to learn the difference between "come here Josie!" and "Toby come!" But no wonder she gets confused, I mean, we have begun mixing up their names on a regular basis. I vowed never to call my daughter by a dog's name (I was called "Jessie, Corrie, Sharayah, Jordan, Katie! -- first 3 are former dogs names, the last is my brother... ) but... it's inevitable. TobyJosie JosieToby. We'll just call them both that. And then maybe they'll both come. That is, once the knees and hands figure out how to work together!
