You would think I have more to do than take pictures of Josie. Well, I don't. She's such a fun model and when you capture shots like this, well, it's worth it. However, this is a rare shot for me- eyes in focus, no blur, no flash. Any of you photographers out there (eh hem, Katie) have any suggestions for capturing those beautiful kid shots? :)

she's so beautiful! I love her hat and cute little overalls! I hope she is sleeping better. I wrote this long comment on that sleeping post you wrote a while back because I went through the same exact thing. I guess I'm still going through it, sometimes (: Anyhow, blogger lost the comment.

I was going through the same thing with my daughter, though. Its so frustrating, at times!
Bribe with food, get someone else to make her smile with toys etc, shoot at a faster shutter speed, and in brighter light if your lens isn't fast enough.
so cute! i would get nothing if it weren't 4 the rapid fire feature on my camera- about 2 or 3 shots per second for several seconds.
Plan on 1 out of 200 shots being good. :) No, not always that bad, but sometimes it feels that way...kids are hard to get good shots of! I like to set them by a window, put my camera at ISO 400, Aperature at 2.8, and a fast shutter speed. It's hard, though, to get indoor shots without flash that aren't blurry. Outside cloudy days are perfect!
She is just so adorable!!!!
I'm just now catching up on your blog . . . SO ADORABLE!! I'm so in a not-take-pics-of-the-kids rut b/c Keturah is now also more mobile than ever. (Yes, it gets worse!) I totally sympathize with you, Katie. And I agree with Rebecca. Just don't plan on a lot of the shots being good.
