So, Jos is our for a nap after being up constantly sice 4:24 this morning and with a few moments before a dentist appointment (thank goodness for father-in-laws that are also dentists) I wanted to download my brain and a few pictures online.
So, here's glimse of our last couple of weeks..
We have been on the road with our amazing 9 week old baby now since she was 5 weeks.. And she's taking a particular hatred to the car seat which doesn't bode well for our journey back to NY from Ohio this coming Monday and Tuesday. But, while one person drives and the other stays back with Josie rocking the car seat, making sure the paci stays in place or making funny faces to keep her smiling, we somehow cover the miles. There are long roads between Upstate NY and the Outer Banks of NC, or between NC and OH, and then again to Kalamazoo MI, and Chicago... my it's been a journey. But then again, it seems like our life never is calm now, is it?

So, here's glimse of our last couple of weeks..
We had a great time with family in the Outer Banks-- what a treat!
And then more family in Ohio, renting a cabin in the Hocking Hills.
Staying with other friends along the way in Virginia. So good to see friends!
Then we saw dear folks in Upland IN, on our way to Kalamazoo to spend a few days with Dave's college roommates at their log home in the pine forest. Talk about dejavu for me as a child!
Then back down to Chicago for a Wheaton rooomate reunion- wonderful days of fun with friends! (Josie especially liked spending time with her future collage roommate Emily)

Oh my gosh...my daughter HATES her carseat too! I have been there with you...sitting in the backseat, rocking the carseat (:
We switched to a convertible carseat, and I don't know if it is because her acid reflux, but she now does much better in the carseat. She has more room to look around her, and is sitting more comfortably.
