This spring, Dave has been pro-active in forming relationships with local Chinese schools. One particular school, near us, has been very receptive and we've been doing what we can to form relationships between our schools. Over the past 2 weeks, a couple of our students have expressed a desire to get involved, and so started an "English class" that they plan and teach at the Chinese school each Friday. I've gone along as a support teacher and we have just had such a fun time with the kids each time we go. Elly, Grace and Sung Yun have specialized in teaching the song "Head Shoulders Knees and Toes" and "This Little Light of Mine", as well as other essential English word games such as Simon Says. It's been fun to work with my kids as they work with other kids... truly a blessing to get out into the community and be a part of China!

Attentive Chinese students....

Keeping class visitors from being distracting:)

And finally... reciting all the months of the year in order!! (she did great!)

So, Fridays are exhausting, but fun. This week we have spring break so Dave and I will be at the beach, but my students plan on going to school and teaching!!! (Such committment!!)
